Cubans Hail Private Property Revolution

As the U.S. turns toward larger government and greater state control, the tiny island of Cuba has vowed "structural changes" that include the right for citizens to buy and sell private homes and property. 

The changes began in 2006 when Raul Castro took control of Cuba from his brother Fidel.  In an effort to increase productivity, farmers were allowed to lease up to 165 acres of land they can cultivate themselves. In addition, Raul has vowed to reduce the size of government by 20% and boost self-employment.  Read more.
