Dodd-Frank Offers Cash to Rat Out Bosses

In a recent Ethics & Action Survey, conducted by ORC International, 78% of workers agreed that anonymity plus cash rewards would be enough to compel them to blow the whistle on their employers.  The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act provides employees with significant financial rewards and strengthened anti-retaliation and anonymity protections that could well mean these employees will follow through.  

In the seven weeks following implementation of the whistlblower rules, 334 reports of alleged securities violations were reported.  Read more.
